Terms of service

Last updated 18 September 2026

These terms apply to Spreadfold (spreadfold.com and app.spreadfold.com), operated by an individual (sole proprietor) based in Andhra Pradesh, India (“we”, “us”). By creating a studio account, or by opening a client or guest link, you agree to them. Our privacy policy explains how personal data is handled.

1. The service

Spreadfold lets a photography studio upload an event's photos, organise them in folders, share them with its client through a private link and PIN and with guests through a guest link, let guests find their photos with a selfie, and collect the client's album picks. Spreadfold is in a pilot phase: features may change, be added or be removed, and we will tell studios about changes that affect them.

2. Studio accounts

  • Studio accounts are for businesses and adults (18 or older). You sign in with Google.
  • Keep your studio details accurate, and keep access to your Google account secure. You are responsible for what is done through your account.
  • Tell us at once at support@spreadfold.com if you think your account has been misused.

3. Your photos

  • You keep all rights to the photos you upload. We claim no ownership.
  • You allow us to store, copy, resize, analyse (including face recognition when you turn on guest search) and show your photos to the people you share them with, only to provide the service to you.
  • You confirm that you have the right to upload and share each photo, and that you have told your client how the photos will be shared, including guest selfie search.
  • You decide who gets your links and PINs. Anyone with a guest link can see the photos shared with guests; the client can hide photos and people from guests.

4. Acceptable use

You must not use Spreadfold to:

  • upload anything illegal, or anything you do not have the right to share;
  • upload sexual content involving anyone under 18, or intimate images of anyone without their consent;
  • harass, stalk or identify people against their wishes, including by misusing selfie search;
  • copy the service, scrape it, overload it, or try to get around its security or limits;
  • resell the service without our written agreement.

We may remove content or suspend access that breaks these rules, and report illegal content where the law requires.

5. Plans and payment

  • Events are priced per event by package, each with a photo limit shown when you create the event. The package is fixed once the event is created.
  • During the pilot your first event is free. Prices are in Indian rupees, plus applicable taxes.
  • Payments are processed by Razorpay. We never see or store your card, UPI or bank details.
  • If an event does not work because of a fault on our side, write to us within 14 days of paying and we will fix it or refund that event.

6. Storage and deletion

  • Full-size photo files are deleted 90 days after an event's last upload, except while the client's album selection is open. Smaller web-size copies stay available.
  • Face data is deleted when you delete it, and no later than 12 months after the event.
  • Spreadfold is a way to deliver photos, not a backup. Always keep your own copies of your originals.

7. Availability

We work to keep Spreadfold running and your data safe, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or free of errors. We may pause the service briefly for maintenance.

8. Ending your use

You can stop using Spreadfold at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or is used in a way that puts others at risk. Where we can, we will warn you first and give you time to download your photos.

9. Liability

  • Spreadfold is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or loss of photos you did not keep copies of.
  • Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim.
  • You are responsible for claims that arise from photos you upload or share, or from your breach of these terms.

10. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes will be decided by the courts of Andhra Pradesh. Please write to us first: most problems can be solved quickly.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. We will change the date above and tell studios by email before any change that affects them takes effect. Using Spreadfold after that means you accept the new terms.
